Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist in Acute Care provides diagnostic evaluations and treatment for patients with speech-language and/or swallowing disorders due to neurogenic or surgical etiologies. Develops therapy modalities and goals, conducts esophageal and tracheoesophageal voice training, uses video fluorography, and performs evaluations such as invasive tracheoesophageal puncture assessments. Maintains patient records, completes billing documentation, participates in interdepartmental rehabilitation teams, presents in-services, and stays current with field trends. Requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, 1-2 years of relevant experience, ASHA certification, and licensure (SP-L) within DC within 90 days. Salary range: $74,214 to $134,596 per year.

- SP-L - Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the District of Columbia within 90 Days
