Job Summary
Speech/Language Pathologist (.60 FTE) for Cambridge Public Schools. Provides evaluations, develops IEPs/504 Plans, and delivers evidence-based speech and language services in a collaborative school setting. Responsibilities include conducting screenings/evaluations, administering formal/informal assessments, interpreting data to determine need for services, preparing reports for parents and school teams, planning services across delivery models (classroom, consultation, pull-out) to support access to the general curriculum, and collaborating with teachers, administrators, and related service providers. Requires Massachusetts SLP licensure and certification; ASHA certification preferred; experience in urban school systems and knowledge of AAC. Master’s degree in Speech & Language Pathology and related licensure are required or preferred; position may be part-time (.60 FTE) and location is Cambridge, MA.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech & Language Pathology from an accredited college or university preferred
- Massachusetts Certification/License: Speech, All Levels
- ASHA Certification preferred
- Experience teaching and/or working in an urban school system with special needs students
- Knowledge and/or experience with AAC (Augmentative & Alternative Communication)
