Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive services for learners aged birth to 21, including direct services, consultation, coaching, and training. Complete Child Find tasks to determine Special Education eligibility, assess communication skills, and develop evidence-based intervention plans addressing language, articulation, fluency, and voice disorders. Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines while partnering with educators, families, and communities. Maintain a current Iowa Department of Public Health license as an agency requirement. Begin the 2027-28 school year in a full-time capacity of 8 hours per day for 190 days.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Iowa Bureau of Educational Examiners (BoEE) B-21 Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • Statement of Professional Recognition (SPR)
  • Professional Service License
  • Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) License
  • Meet all state requirements, endorsements, approval, and licensure requirements as established by the Iowa Department of Education/Iowa Board of Educational Examiners
