Job Summary
Part-time Speech-Language Pathologist at Beth Israel Lahey Health in Winchester, MA, providing direct patient care across swallowing, voice, language, speech and cognitive disorders in acute care/inpatient rehab/LTAC settings. Responsibilities include assessment using observation, interview and standardized tests; developing and updating individualized plans of care; documentation in the medical record; coordinating with physicians and health-care team; participating in case conferences and family meetings; and discharge planning. Requires Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA CCC-SLP, and Massachusetts SLP license; MBSS proficiency; flexible Monday–Friday availability with no weekends or holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathology License
- Minimum one year of experience as speech-language pathologist in acute care, inpatient rehab, and/or LTAC settings
- Proficiency with Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS)
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
- No Clinical Fellow status allowed
