Job Summary
Conduct speech and language pathology services as a supplement to the child's basic education program in regular or special education settings. Provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to determine communicative status and eligibility for services, including routine screening tests for students aged zero through twenty-one. Participate as a multi-disciplinary team member or consultant, develop IEP goals and objectives, and schedule and attend IEP meetings to determine the least restrictive environment. Maintain speech, language, and hearing record folders, submit reports to parents and regulatory bodies, and provide habilitating services ranging from indirect consultation to intensive small group remediation. Serve as a consultant to classroom teachers and assist in curriculum guide development.
Required Qualifications
- Current Ohio certification, Speech Pathology
- Must have own transportation available daily
