Job Summary
Organize and coordinate speech-language pathology services in the school setting: develop and implement individualized education plans for students with speech-language impairments, conduct screenings and testing, document therapy and evaluation services, maintain Medicaid billing profiles and therapy notes, supervise speech-language assistants and clinical fellows, attend IEP meetings, collaborate with classroom teachers and families, and provide consultation and referrals as needed. Requires master’s degree in Speech Pathology, NC licensure (G License) and state certification; ASHA CCC preferred. Duties include assessment, development of programs, record-keeping, and professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology
- NCDPI G License
- Valid NC certification 88082 Speech-Language Pathologist
- License from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists
- Must possess a valid driver’s license issued by the NC Department of Motor Vehicles
