Job Summary
Provide full-time speech and language therapy services to elementary students across general education, resource room, and ASD classrooms. Conduct evaluations, develop individualized educational plans (IEPs), and implement evidence-based interventions to address speech and language needs. Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support students’ communication skills across both classroom and individual settings. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders. Utilize IEP system for management and compliance. Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities. Enjoy a dedicated office space for therapy sessions and planning.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Michigan (LARA)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or eligibility to obtain CCC-SLP
