Job Summary
Provide full-time Speech-Language Pathologist services in a K-12 district across three school buildings (Preschool and elementary caseload with some AAC users) in Melvindale, MI. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, implementing evidence-based interventions to address speech-language needs, collaborating with teachers, families, interpreters, and other service providers, maintaining documentation and communication, using the IEP system, and participating in team meetings and ongoing training. The role supports a collaborative, school-based setting with strong professional growth opportunities and benefits for 30+ hours/week.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or in the process of completing)
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Michigan (LARA)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or eligibility to obtain CCC-SLP
- Ability to provide full-time speech-language therapy services in a school-based setting
- Experience conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and implementing evidence-based interventions
- Collaborative work with classroom teachers, parents, interpreters, and other related service providers
