Speech Language Intern - District-Wide

Job Summary
The speech language intern will observe and/or assist with assessing and providing intervention to ensure student success and promote an exemplary educational program which fosters achievement for all students. Develops and promotes good relations among community and school clientele. Duties include assessing and providing intervention for students with communication disorders (articulation, receptive/expressive language, auditory processing, fluency, voice, literacy), monitoring progress toward IEP goals, supporting English language learners, knowledge of diagnostic assessments for speech language, collaboration with special education teams, differentiated instruction, and active participation in a professional learning community; requires Colorado licensure/endorsement in the appropriate content area and state driver’s license. Minimum qualifications align with Colorado Department of Education requirements. Desirable SSP Internship Authorization for subbing during internship.
Required Qualifications
- CURRENTLY LICENSED OR ENDORSED IN THE APPROPRIATE CONTENT AREA(S)
- Colorado driver’s license
- Proficiency in using technology
- Colorado Special Services Provider (SSP) Internship Authorization (required, only if interested in subbing during internship)
