Speech Language Graduate Internship

Job Summary
Provides intensive speech and language therapy and feeding therapy services under direct supervision to students, developing therapeutic plans addressing communication, AAC, oral motor, and feeding needs. Documents progress through daily session notes, quarterly progress notes, and yearly evaluations, and updates IEPs under supervision. Communicates with parents and medical professionals as needed and collaborates with teachers and related service providers to ensure a comprehensive educational plan. Completes a final project at internship end. Internship length typically 14-16 weeks. Eligible applicants are current students; internship may satisfy course credit. HIPAA compliance and adherence to iHOPE policies are required. This is an unpaid internship opportunity.
Required Qualifications
- Enrollment in an affiliated college and university
- Successful completion of undergraduate degree in communication disorders/sciences or a related field
- Successful completion of one year of graduate studies in speech-language pathology/communication disorders
- Unpaid internship opportunity open to current students
