Speech Language Assistant/Facilitator

Job Summary
Collaborate with a Speech Language Pathologist to provide services and supports to students. Set up the computer and microphone and ensure teletherapy technology works; ensure student safety during teletherapy sessions; position and monitor students during sessions; assist with preparing instructional materials; communicate with students, educators, and families; document and maintain progress records; schedule and plan with the SLP; maintain confidentiality of student information; perform other duties as assigned. Skills include collaboration with SLPs and teachers, proficiency with technology, behavior management, and ability to work with diverse student needs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent or Bachelor degree in Speech Pathology or a related field of study that provides equivalent knowledge and skills.
