Job Summary
Conduct speech/language pathology examinations and evaluations to determine prognosis, provide intervention, and update care plans. Consult with medical, ancillary professionals, and supervisors to ensure optimum patient care and effective operations. Demonstrate comprehensive evaluation skills by assessing intervention effectiveness and modifying plans as appropriate. Maintain all written documentation, reports, and patient records in accordance with regulatory and department guidelines. Communicate effectively with patients and families to provide education tailored to their age, physical condition, and cultural needs. Assist with clinical and operational issues while improving processes and utilization of rehabilitation services. Requires a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology, current New Jersey licensure, ASHA certification, and CPR certification. Hourly rate ranges from $70.00 to $167.50.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from a program accredited by ASHA
- Current licensure in the State of New Jersey
- ASHA certification
