Job Summary
Evaluate patients, identify problems, and develop comprehensive plans of care supported by evidence-based practice. Manage speech therapy care by coordinating with the care team, implementing treatment interventions, and ensuring accurate documentation within timeframes. Identify safety concerns, obtain consent, and facilitate discharge needs including communication with the care team and follow-up recommendations. Contribute to continuous quality improvement processes, assist in student education, and participate in professional development activities. Maintain a safe environment while respecting patient cultural, spiritual, and psychosocial needs. Complete all required training components and documentation as set forth by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
Required Qualifications
- Masters of Science in Communication Disorders", "Completion of Master of SLP Program", "Require professional Experience (RPE) Temporary License - CA", "BCLS or ACLS Certification
