Job Summary
Deliver targeted interventions and develop therapy programmes for children with complex educational and emotional barriers. Support SENCOs and school staff in implementing universal strategies and delivering pupil-centred intervention plans across mainstream schools in Hillingdon, Uxbridge, and Isleworth. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to model effective support and equip key adults with skills to achieve therapy goals using a graduated response model aligned with the SEND Code of Practice. Work closely with families and professionals to ensure interventions are integrated into school life. This role shapes the area's inclusive education strategy for a permanent, 37.5-hour week contract with up to £40,250 per annum, including a welcome bonus.
Required Qualifications
- BSc, PGDip or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Experience working with this client group in a similar setting
- Highly experienced in providing professional and clinical supervision
- Highly experienced in developing training
- All successful applicants will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS

- Team Lead Experience
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
