Job Summary
Deliver targeted interventions and develop therapy programmes across mainstream schools in Hillingdon, Uxbridge, and Isleworth. Support SENCOs and school staff by implementing universal strategies and delivering pupil-centred intervention plans aligned with the SEND Code of Practice. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary and teaching teams to model interventions and equip key adults with skills to support pupils in achieving therapy goals. This role involves shaping the area's inclusive education strategy within a growing multidisciplinary hub serving children, young people, and families. Permanent contract with 37.5 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- BSc, PGDip or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Experience working with this client group in a similar setting
- Highly experienced in providing professional and clinical supervision
- Highly experienced in developing training
- All successful applicants will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of implementing universal strategies and targeted interventions
- Team Lead Experience
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
