Job Summary
Deliver targeted interventions and develop therapy programmes across mainstream schools in the Hillingdon, Uxbridge, and Isleworth area. Support SENCOs and school staff in implementing universal strategies and delivering pupil-centred intervention plans while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Model effective integration of therapy into school life using a graduated response model aligned with the SEND Code of Practice. Empower key adults to confidently support pupils in achieving their therapy goals within a permanent contract of 37.5 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- BSc, PGDip or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Experience working with this client group in a similar setting
- Highly experienced in providing professional and clinical supervision
- Highly experienced in developing training
- fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of implementing universal strategies and targeted interventions
- Team Lead Experience
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
