Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's developmental and learning needs for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Develop and implement individualised intervention plans while collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate goals into daily environments. Evaluate intervention effectiveness, provide training to key adults, and maintain accurate documentation. Actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings to ensure coordinated care for young people with complex needs. This permanent summer contract offers 37.5 hours across six days with a welcome bonus. Momenta Connect is a renowned multidisciplinary hub supporting children facing complex educational and emotional barriers through expert-led diagnostics and inclusion hubs.
Required Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration
- All successful applicants will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working within a paediatric setting
- Experience working with EHCPs and SLT provision in a school setting
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
