Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and develop individualised intervention plans for children with complex needs. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals into daily environments and equip key adults with skills to support these goals. Evaluate intervention effectiveness, provide training and upskilling to professionals, and maintain accurate documentation while actively participating in multidisciplinary meetings. Work primarily in school settings with potential for clinic and remote-based opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working within a paediatric setting
- Experience working with EHCPs and SLT provision in a school setting
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
