Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's developmental and learning needs for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Develop and implement individualized intervention plans while collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate goals into daily environments. Evaluate intervention effectiveness, provide training to key adults, and maintain accurate documentation. Actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings to ensure coordinated care for young people with complex needs, primarily in school settings with potential for clinic and remote work.
Required Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration
- All successful applicants will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working within a paediatric setting
- Experience working with EHCPs and SLT provision in a school setting
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
