Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive developmental and learning assessments for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), then develop and implement individualized intervention plans. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals into the child's daily environment and equip key adults with skills to support them. Evaluate intervention effectiveness, provide training to families and staff, maintain accurate documentation, and actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings to ensure coordinated care for children with complex needs. Primarily work in school settings with potential for clinic and remote opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration
- All experience levels considered
- Fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working within a paediatric setting
- Experience working with EHCPs and SLT provision in a school setting
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
