Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's developmental needs for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and develop individualized intervention plans. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals into daily environments and equip key adults with skills to support them. Evaluate intervention effectiveness, provide training to staff, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings for coordinated care. Primarily work in school settings with potential for clinic and remote opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration
- All successful applicants will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working within a paediatric setting
- Experience working with EHCPs and SLT provision in a school setting
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
