Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's developmental needs for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and develop individualised intervention plans. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals into daily environments and evaluate intervention effectiveness. Equip key adults with skills to support therapy goals and actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings for coordinated care. Provide training and upskilling to families and staff while maintaining accurate documentation. Work primarily in school settings with opportunities for clinic and remote-based delivery.
Required Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration
- All experience levels considered
- Fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working within a paediatric setting
- Experience working with EHCPs and SLT provision in a school setting
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
