Job Summary
Provide school-based speech and language pathology services, including assessment, IEP development and participation in MET/IEP meetings, consultation and training for staff, data organization for eligibility determinations, and delivery of evidence-based interventions for students with communication disorders within MTSS and in accordance with state, federal, and district guidelines. The role includes case management for eligible students, collaboration with classroom teachers, scheduling to align with student programs, and maintaining accurate records while supporting staff through in-service training to integrate language development into daily instruction.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology (or valid Michigan teacher certification with full approval in Speech and Language Impaired)
- Speech and Language License (LARA or Michigan Teacher Certification)
