Job Summary
Provide direct patient care to individuals with neurological, speech-language, cognitive, swallowing, pragmatic, voice, and other disorders through an interdisciplinary approach. Deliver interventions that promote and restore optimal health and well-being for patients recovering from life-altering events or diagnoses. Maintain current Louisiana licensure, BLS certification, and a Master's degree with CCC-SLP. Requires one year of inpatient or outpatient direct care experience. Available for PRN coverage at the NeuroMedical Center Rehabilitation Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- One year of work experience providing direct patient care in an inpatient or outpatient setting
- Master's degree in speech-language pathology with a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language Hearing Association
- Current Speech Language Pathologist License with the State of Louisiana
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association
