Job Summary
Provide comprehensive speech-language evaluation, therapy, and related services for preschool students, develop and document IEP goals and progress, integrate therapy into classroom routines, collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers, and ensure compliance with NY requirements, CPSE portal processes, and regulatory reporting; maintain accurate records and contribute to treatment planning through an interdisciplinary team; support functional communication and AAC needs within an early childhood setting.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Communication Disorders or related field
- New York State certification as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)
- Current New York State licensure and certification maintained throughout employment
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary, early childhood environment
