Job Summary
Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPa) position in Watertown Public Schools. Provides direct treatment services to students under the supervision of a certified Speech/Language Pathologist. Adapts or modifies instructional materials and/or equipment as determined by student needs and abilities. Assists in maintaining student records, tallying data, preparing charts, records, graphs and reports. Follows ASHA guidelines for scope of services. Yearly appointment, 7.10 hours per day. Salary commensurate with education and experience. Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education and Pupil Personnel Services and/or Building Administrator. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in speech/language pathology, or post-secondary equivalent course work and equivalent training and experience.
