Job Summary
As a Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant, provide support to students in speech and language activities under the supervision of a certified SLP. Primary responsibilities include conducting screenings (without interpretation) following protocol; maintaining short-term objectives on IEPs across speech, language, voice and fluency; documenting and reporting student progress; assisting with informal documentation and materials (communication boards, overlays); ensuring student devices are functioning; collaborating with the SLP, teachers, and parents to ensure positive outcomes; collecting meaningful data for the team; attending meetings and contributing to progress reports; and providing additional supports as directed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders or Speech and Language Pathology
