Job Summary
Part-time Speech and Language Pathologist (0.6 FTE) in Grosse Pointe Public Schools, Michigan. Provides direct therapy and consultation to students with articulation, receptive/expressive language, fluency, and/or voice disorders; conducts evaluations; leads IEP development and meetings; implements AAC devices and materials; delivers therapy as specified in IEPs; completes required documentation and Medicaid billing; collaborates with staff to implement accommodations; supports MTSS and trauma-informed practices; requires licensure in Michigan with CCCs and knowledge of applicable laws.
Required Qualifications
- Current Speech-Language Pathology Licensure in Michigan with CCC's
- Working knowledge of the principles, practices and ethical standards of Speech and Language Pathologists, as well as relevant state and federal laws, rules and regulations
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to balance multiple demands and prioritize activities to meet deadlines
Desired Qualifications
