Job Summary
SPED Teacher for K-12 at PODER Academy in Cheyenne, WY (full-time). Develops and delivers individualized and group instruction within established curriculum, manages IEPs and related paperwork, conducts developmental testing and assessments, collaborates with teachers and administrators, communicates progress to parents/guardians, and maintains materials and records to document student progress. Requires Wyoming licensure, a Bachelor's degree or higher, and ability to teach both one-on-one and small groups; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Focus areas include adapting materials to individualized learning plans, administering assessments, supporting student achievement, and participating in meetings and coordination with staff and families.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Appropriate Wyoming Licensure
- Able to pass a background check
- Able to effectively teach and work one-on-one and with small groups of students
