Job Summary
Coordinate Special Education, Section 504, and Dyslexia programs in compliance with federal, state, and district requirements. Train teachers and staff on student confidentiality laws, while assisting administration in scheduling SPED classes and planning professional development. Monitor student academic progress through evaluations to coordinate instruction and schedule, ensuring safe, accessible learning environments. Compile and file all required reports, maintain communication with parents and educators, and collaborate with district personnel to advocate for equitable educational opportunities. Plan, develop, and implement programs and services, including facilitating ARD/504 meetings and placement decisions. Ensure timely dissemination of accommodations and modifications to related personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas Educator Certification with required special education endorsement

- Minimum 2 years of special education teaching experience
