Job Summary
Facilitate student success and growth by implementing specialized instruction, adapting classroom materials, and managing student behavior in a safe, optimal learning environment. Document teaching progress, write and implement IEP goals, and collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to ensure adequate academic advancement. Direct assistant teachers and paraeducators, model appropriate social skills, and administer first aid or medications as needed. Prepare written materials such as newsletters and assessment reports to communicate with parents and administration. Attend IEP meetings and respond to inquiries from various sources to resolve issues and provide direction.
Required Qualifications
- SPED license", "Mild /Moderate Disabilities (M/M) endorsement
