Job Summary
Collaborate with students, parents, and staff to develop Individualized Education Programs through the ARD Committee process. Implement instructional, therapeutic, or skill development programs while conducting assessments of student learning styles. Present subject matter effectively according to IEP guidelines and modify regular curricula to assist special education students in general classes. Manage student behavior, administer discipline, and intervene in crisis situations as required. Participate in ARD Committee meetings, staff development activities, and faculty meetings as assigned. Requires a Bachelor's Degree, Secondary Teaching Certificate, and ESL Certification or ability to obtain one.
