Specimen Processor - Part Time

Job Summary
Process patient specimens by ensuring they are properly prepared, routed, and stored while recognizing when corrective action is needed. Implement effective solutions for laboratory issues and work within biological hazard environments using required PPE. Champion safety, compliance, and quality control protocols throughout the shift. This role requires a high school diploma, strong analytical skills, and the ability to operate general laboratory equipment including centrifuges and alarms. Experience in clinical laboratory or data entry is a plus. Schedule includes Monday through Friday plus rotating weekends from 8pm to 12am, with 20 weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, centrifuges, and audible alarms
- Routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI)
- Monday - Friday + rotating weekend
- 8pm-12am
- Part-time
- 20 Scheduled Weekly Hours

Desired Qualifications
- 1 - 2 years of related experience in clinical laboratory, data entry, or production
- Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing
