Job Summary
Specimen Processor I at Labcorp performs specimen preparation, labeling, and processing to support diagnostic testing. Responsibilities include unpacking and routing specimens to staging areas, accurately identifying and labeling specimens, packing and shipping specimens to testing facilities, meeting department production goals, preparing and storing excess specimens, and data entry of patient information. Requires comfortable handling of biological specimens, ability to lift up to 40lbs, strong data entry and organizational skills, and attention to detail; teamwork is essential. The role may involve evening hours (6:30pm–10:30pm) with overtime as needed. Proficiency with MS Office and adherence to standard operating procedures is important. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED or equivalent
- Minimum qualifications: High School diploma or GED or equivalent; comfortable handling biological specimens; ability to lift up to 40lbs; data entry skills; must pass color blindness test

- 1 year or more experience in lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing, or warehouse
