Specimen Processor I

Specimen Processor I responsibilities include preparing laboratory specimens for analysis and testing, unpacking and routing specimens to their respective staging areas, accurately identifying and labeling specimens, packing and shipping specimens to proper testing facilities, meeting department activity and production goals, and data entry of patient information with accuracy and timeliness. The role requires comfortable handling biological specimens, strong data entry and organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to lift up to 40lbs, and the ability to work in a team environment. Knowledge of MS Office and adherence to standard operating procedures is expected.
