Job Summary

Receive, prepare, centrifuge, separate, and ship laboratory specimens in compliance with GLP guidelines, study protocols, and SOPs. Coordinate with study directors, pathologists, and laboratory staff to ensure timely transfer for analysis, archive, or shipment while maintaining chain of custody. Maintain laboratory equipment, documentation, and cleanliness, and cross-train to perform other specimen management duties as needed. This role supports Altasciences' drug therapy development and manufacturing efforts, fostering a collaborative environment focused on quality and excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Work Authorization & Sponsorship: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Valid work authorization that does not require employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • High level detail-orientation
  • Problem solving skills
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Basic math skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous laboratory or regulated environment experience
  • Knowledge of current International Air Transport Association (IATA) and Code of Federal Regulations (49 CFR) transportation safety requirements
  • Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Adapts easily to new software
  • English proficiency both written and verbal
