Job Summary
Reconcile sample shipments and resolve routine issues to ensure samples are accurately identified, sorted, and labeled for testing and/or storage. Identify errors or potential problems and escalate concerns to senior-level staff while notifying customers of sample receipt and responding to routine inquiries. Support after-hour alarms and other job-critical functions as required, maintaining safety, quality, and 6S standards. Communicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders and notify appropriate staff of supply shortages, performing all work in accordance with company procedures and regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a natural science field
- BS in life science
- Basic knowledge of laboratory systems and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and resolve routine challenges
- Experience supporting sample shipment reconciliation, sample identification, sorting, labeling, testing, and/or storage workflows
- Knowledge of GLP/GDP regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to sample traceability and accountability
- Effective organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with coworkers, managers, customers, and clients
- Self-motivated
