Specimen Collector Phlebotomist role based in Pueblo/Colorado Springs/Canon City, CO. Responsibilities include collecting urine, oral fluid, and/or blood specimens with accuracy, ensuring proper labeling and shipping, data-entry of order details, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards. The role emphasizes patient-centered service, adherence to specimen collection procedures, and contributing to improved patient outcomes through precise daily workflow, inventory management, and collaboration with healthcare teams. Must hold an active phlebotomy certification and have at least 6 months of venipuncture experience; travel between clinics may be required. Hourly rate $21 with full benefits; full-time position.
Required Qualifications
- Active phlebotomy certification from an accredited program (e.g., NHA, ASCP, NCPT)
- 6 months or more phlebotomy experience with venipuncture in a healthcare setting
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance; successful motor vehicle record check
- Ability to travel between multiple clinics as needed
