Job Summary
Collect patient blood, urine, and oral fluid specimens, then process and package them for shipping. Serve as the intermediary between clinics and the laboratory by recording patient information, physician orders, and lab details while resolving specimen concerns through the ordering portal. Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite and observe collections when applicable. Drive to multiple facilities as needed to support these duties. This role supports clinicians in monitoring prescription and illicit drug use for patients with chronic pain, mental illness, and substance use disorders. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and smartphone/computer navigation skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Certified phlebotomist
- 1+ year experience in the field
- 6+ months of experience as a specimen collector
- 1+ years of experience in the medical field
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Demonstrated ability to navigate a smart phone and computer
- Valid driver's license

Desired Qualifications
- 6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ years of experience in the medical field, directly supporting patients preferred
- 2+ years of customer service experience can be considered in place of medical experience
- Medical insurance/billing and/or familiarity with medications/diagnostic codes is a plus
