Job Summary
Specimen Collector role in healthcare operations focused on accurate collection and processing of specimens (oral, urine, and/or blood per policy), precise data entry and order processing, and shipping of specimens to support patient care. Responsibilities include maintaining HIPAA and OSHA compliance, providing an excellent patient experience, and adhering to established procedures and quality standards. Strong attention to detail, effective communication with patients and staff, and knowledge of specimen collection techniques and biosafety practices are essential. This is a full-time position based in Ceredo, WV with a schedule Monday–Thursday, 8:30am–5:00pm (half-hour lunch), offering comprehensive benefits and education reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent GED
- Prior patient experience a plus
- Certifications as may be required for specimen collection
- Possession of a valid driver's license/Auto insurance (for those that travel between clinics) or alternate means of travel
