Job Summary
Receive, triage, and accession patient samples; distribute reports and specimens to clients; and perform quality control of accessions and labeling. Troubleshoot specimen issues and communicate questions, concerns, and updates to clients, pathology labs, and internal departments via telephone, email, and facsimile. Maintain excellent documentation skills and attention to detail while managing paperwork and non-technical procedures required to prepare specimens for laboratory testing. This onsite role in Irvine, CA, supports Mdxhealth's mission to improve cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years' experience
- Strong data entry skills
- Ability to troubleshoot specimen issues
- Ability to communicate specimen questions, concerns and issues with clients, pathology labs and internal departments via telephone, email and facsimile
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Attention to detail
- Position is onsite in Irvine, CA
- Shift is Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00am to 6:30pm
