Job Summary
Technical specialist to develop and manage detailed product specifications for recipes and packaging. You’ll work with both Branded and own-label customers, ensuring specifications are current and accurate; lead changes in product and packaging specs; translate internal specs to meet retailer requirements; transfer data to systems like D365; ensure compliance with BRC and regulatory standards; advise Technical Managers on retailer specs; keep raw material specs updated with the Supplier Technical Manager; report packaging data to comply with waste regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Food industry and FMCG experience
- Specification writing in a food development and manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of recipe and specification building
