Job Summary
Prepare accurate door and hardware specifications and schedules; interpret construction drawings and project requirements; ensure compliance with building codes, NZ standards, and fire regulations; provide technical support to sales teams, architects, and contractors; generate project quotations and manage pricing within guidelines; maintain accurate project data in CRM systems; support project discussions and knowledge sharing; contribute to adoption of AAOS tools; support discretionary projects generated from lead-generation tools.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in a related role (specifications, construction, or similar)
- Understanding of door hardware, architectural, or construction industry
- Ability to read and interpret building drawings
- Knowledge of building codes and compliance requirements
- Strong communication skills, especially in a remote team environment
- Comfortable working independently and managing your time
- Experience with specification, CRM, or estimation tools
- GAI or DHI qualifications are a plus, but not essential
