Specification Manager

Specification Manager to join NPD/EPD teams in Crewe on a 12-month fixed-term contract (hybrid). You will create accurate specifications that meet customer expectations and legal requirements, acting as the link between Development, customers and internal teams. Responsibilities include maintaining customer specifications and portal systems (raw materials, packaging, legality), ensuring supplier information is current, managing the specification administration process from concept through delist, adhering to labeling guidelines and customer codes, supporting product development documentation, coordinating artwork processes for legal packaging, and assisting in customer/audit site visits. Travel is required. Key skills include experience with a customer specification system for food, HACCP/Food Safety training, meat analysis, critical path management, and FMCG experience, plus planning, organization, project management, effective communication across levels, presentation skills, problem-solving, and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word). A passion for food, self-motivation, flexibility, team orientation, and a willingness to learn are desired.
