Job Summary
Assist the professional nurse in providing quality patient care by taking vital signs, transporting patients, and helping with interventions. Inform the nurse about any significant changes in patient status. Interact with other departments, perform cleaning, and restock supplies under direction. Maintain current Kansas C.N.A. certification and Basic Life Support certification. Work under the supervision of the professional nurse in charge of the department.
Required Qualifications
- Current Kansas C.N.A. certification
- Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider, or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider), or successful completion within the first 90 days of employment
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED preferred
- 1-2 years nurse assistant experience preferred
