Job Summary
Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging shoppers, completing sales transactions, and recommending products while promoting the Scheels Visa Credit Card. Maintain expert-level product knowledge, lead training for associates, and consistently meet personal sales goals. Manage inventory by analyzing Internal Flash Reports, organizing backstock, and ensuring proper floor display with accurate price tagging and signage. Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards while communicating professionally with store staff, the Scheels Campus, and vendors. Perform basic math operations involving currency, measurements, and percentages. Work assigned schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1-3 months of related experience or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
- Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Ability to work assigned schedule; may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Including product knowledge meetings
