Job Summary

Set up sewing machines to join or reinforce various materials and fabrics by understanding specific stitching requirements. Perform cleaning activities, maintain a safe and clean department, and follow all established safety practices. Operate single-needle, multi-needle, serge, box tacker, and various automated machines, or learn to operate them as needed. Work in any area assigned by leadership, including different production lines and inspection areas, while maintaining high productivity numbers. Be prepared to accept new responsibilities and transfer others as the role evolves. Work flexible hours and overtime when required.

Required Qualifications

Ability to sit for 8+ hours a day
Ability to work independently without close supervision
Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when required
Must be able to operate or learn to operate various sewing machines including but not limited to the machines listed below under the skills section
Operate the following sewing machines or willing to learn single needed, multi-needle, serge, box tacker, various automated machines
Must be willing to learn all sewing operations within the line
Must be able to work in a team setting
Must be detail oriented
Must have a strong work ethic
Ability to follow detailed instructions
Ability to follow and understand schedules and process
Ability to multi-task
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
