Job Summary
Drive sales and deliver a guest-ready floorpad by executing visual standards, inspirational promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings. Set and maintain visual presentations, sort truck freight, and push merchandise to the salesfloor to ensure full capacity. Execute backroom organization, price change processes, and support fulfillment by working merchandise from fitting rooms and guest services back to the salesfloor. Greet guests, engage with specific needs, and thank them for shopping at Target while maintaining a culture of ethical conduct and safety. Work in a fast-moving, physically demanding environment requiring flexibility for varying hours, days, and shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb up and down ladders
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise and fixtures up to 44 pounds without additional assistance from others
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays)
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Capability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
