Job Summary
Ensure safety first by assisting the crane operator with load lifting, providing hand signals, and securing equipment including spreader bars and counterweights. Operate trucks to job locations while following State and Federal laws, inspecting vehicles, and reporting mechanical defects. Perform proper rigging techniques, maintain chains and straps, and monitor inventory. Review daily job assignments at shift end and report completion to the dispatcher. Maintain annual State inspections and license plates. Requires Advanced Rigger certification and 1-3 years of rigging experience.
