Specialty/Retail Pharmacy Technician

Process prescriptions from intake to order completion, verify accurate drug and patient information, and escalate questions to the Pharmacist for interpretation. Assist with obtaining insurance authorizations, managing inventory orders, unpacking, checking, and storing pharmaceutical shipments while maintaining a clean, orderly pharmacy environment. Document all supply management activities in patient medical records, resolve customer issues, and perform quality control and auditing functions. Work under direct supervision from the Pharmacist and the Pharmacy Manager to support gastroenterology and hepatology practices. Must be a registered pharmacy technician in Florida with two years of retail pharmacy experience.
